Saratoga Solar supports Public Works Department

The Town of Saratoga Public Works received $3,800 to purchase and install new radios in department vehicles, improving communication among crews working throughout the community. In areas of town where cell phone reception can be unreliable, the upgraded radios will allow staff to stay connected, coordinate more efficiently and respond more quickly to service needs. 

“The donation from Invenergy will help us purchase new radios to improve communication and better serve Saratoga residents,” said Lorelei Fuehrer, Saratoga Town Chair. “We are grateful for Saratoga Solar’s support of our mission and look forward to enhancing service for our community.” 

Reliable communication is essential to keeping roads maintained, infrastructure operating smoothly and residents supported. By investing in tools that strengthen day-to-day operations, Saratoga Solar is helping ensure Public Works crews can serve the community safely and effectively.
